His Story
I met Kaity at one of the most tumultuous times of my life. I had recently gone through a lot of various issues and my grades had taken a turn for the worse. Failing my most important chemistry class by a wide margin, I turned to a quiet, curly haired girl who I had met in Intervarsity Christian Fellowship as well as my Chemistry class. Kaity had expressed her frustration with Chemistry, and we decided then that we should become study partners.
"Studying” was a loose term for us that entailed doing our homework on a white board in the library, listening to our common shared interest in music, bothering our other friends late into the night, and late night food runs. All of this happening from the hours of 10pm-2am. Throughout this whirlwind of a semester, I grew extremely close to Kaity and through the stress, frustration, laughs, and exhaustion, it’s safe to say I fell in love.
Kaity is amazing; I never have to feel like I need to be a different person when I’m around her. She calms me down in times of trouble and encourages me while keeping me grounded in times of triumph. She is beautiful, passionate, kind-hearted, and fun. She is everything I’ve ever wanted in a woman, so it’s no wonder I’m so excited to be getting married to this curly-headed beauty with the best nose in the world (yes I said nose). I love you so much, Kaity, and can’t wait to see what marriage has in store for us.

Her Story
Matt and I first met at a bonfire with InterVarsity Christian Fellowship the first week of my freshman year of college. We didn't know it then, but we actually had the same major and were in a lot of the same classes. We realized that we had classes together about halfway through fall semester of my freshman year (Matt's sophomore year). During the spring semester, Matt texted me one day to ask if I could help him with a lab report for his chemistry class. Since we worked so well together on this, we decided to keep meeting once a week to work on lab reports. This developed into studying together for this difficult general chemistry class almost every evening in the library!
As time went on and we got to know each other, we started developing feelings for each other. All of our InterVarsity friends joke that we had "chemistry" since that's how we got to know each other. Matt met my family at my sister's graduation, but we didn't start dating until after the summer since he was going home to Billings for the summer. I ended up visiting him twice that summer -- once to meet his family and another time to surprise him for his birthday!
Matt asked me to be his girlfriend on August 15, 2010. Little did I know... this would be the start to a grand adventure with my future husband. I am so lucky to get to marry this incredible man and spend the rest of my life with him!
